Another Best Day At Our Netball Lesson!!!!!!

It was a bright sunny and my class is walking down to the court for another netball lesson. The skills we learnt there was defence and attack, the games we played there was the same as last weeks but bits and bits were the same. It was amazing, everyone was cheering, yelling, and mostly supporting. I saw on everyone’s faces had this fear kinda facial, it was so funny. Wow! another best day at netball!. I can’t wait for our next lesson next week

My Excellent Reading!

Today I read Monty Takes the Prize by Jen Storer. I am able to understand the story and complete all the related activities. I am proud of myself and I am going to keep reading till I get better at it.

Our Amazing Scoot Skills!

How Amazing! Today my class had scoot skills, we learnt what to do when we’re on a scooter and we also learnt the rules. We had a teacher from Travelwise. She taught us about what to wear, when we’re on a scooter we need to wear a helmet, knee pads, and elbow pads. She gave us a scooter and we had to share it, we had to ride down to almost the other side of the court and then make a stop turn to the other side and then ride back. We kept on doing till we went onto our last lesson. She showed demonstrations so we will understand and know how to ride a scooter on the road, footpaths, and also on driveways. I didn't really like it, but at least we got to have a little bit of fun.

My Amazing Maths Lesson With Mrs Raj!

Today I learnt how to add and use tidy numbers. I didn't complete the last two because I had to finish my maintenance and we also ran out of time. I sat next a partner in my group and we worked together with all our maths. We talked a little about maths and what we couldn't solve but managed to solve it as a team.

What I really enjoy in maths is when I use tidy numbers and work with Mrs Raj because I need some help and I really to move up a level or two. My goal in my maths is to try and work harder and try be smarter like all my other classmates.


I really enjoy doing maths. Maths is one of my favorite subjects in school. I like to do some maths at home on the computer or on a math sheet. I like to do maths with my dad and my older cousin because I understand clearly and they don't confuse me like how I am at school, always confused. Maths is fun, confusing, exciting, understanding, and also cool. I enjoy maths lessons with my teacher and I hope to be like that everyday.

Kiwi Sport Netball Lessons

Yes! It’s Netball! In this lovely morning we found out we had netball lessons to go to. We learned about chest pass and the how to do a chest pass with a W when we're passing a ball. We went into groups of three and practised. And in those groups we had a competition which group can do 30 chest passes, it was really cool.

We only had limit of time so we played another game, we were put into 2 groups and got a number in those groups. There was 2 netballs in 3 hoops and when our number was called we run to the centre of the court and grab a ball as fast as we could and go passing it one by one to the the students in our team. Everyone was screaming, shouting,yelling, and excited.

And when the last number was called out it was my number. I was panicking and excited, everyone in my team was yelling hurry, hurry, faster. But all that yelling made our team loose because the last person I had to pass the ball to was also panicking so she through the ball too slow. It was alright, well better luck next time.

The Coolest Games Ever!

Guess what I did in my holidays! I had the amazing Thursday ever, but it was only on the first week. On that most fantastic day all primary kids and teachers had a game day at our church. Everyone was running, sweating, and losing balance.

On the last few minutes we had a BBQ we ate, we drank, and we played some games of ourselves. I never ate, all I did was drink and eat ice-cream. I played with my nephew and nieces and I also played with teachers baby. It wasn't really the best day ever, but at least we had to get out of the house.

One of the games we played was dance freeze. I bailed on that one because I didn't know how dance, everyone was dancing especially my friends. The songs were nice so I just sang to that. Another game we played was a game that we had to sprint our way to the other end and place a ball in a hoop. I lost my balance on that one but I nailed it.

We played all sorts of different games that I didn't like, so I just sat there and watched.

Our Fantastic Trip To The M.O.T.A.T!. :)

We went to M.O.T.A.T to learn and discover more about simple machines. The definition of M.O.T.A.T is The Museum Of Transport And Technology.

When we arrived at M.O.T.A.T we got our instructions. Then we started touring around M.O.T.A.T and followed our list of what to do and where to go.

Then we had a little play at the arcade and went on our tram ride. We searched around the steam house and the pump house.

After that we explored more of the M.O.T.A.T and visited the places we haven’t been to. During the class lesson our instructor taught us what were levers. We made and object that we knew was a lever after we got our instructions.

There were new exhibits, there were also the first, second, and third leavers. The first lever is the plier, the second is the nutcracker, and finally the third lever is the tong. That's what I learnt when I was taught in the classroom with my classmates and and our teachers.

It was an interesting trip to M.O.T.A.T and I learnt more about simple machines than I did at school and I hope to learn more new facts next time.
