My Graphs ! ❤
Today, I learnt how to present my data as a line graph and an area graph. Even though I already knew how to make graphs, I still needed a little bit of help. It was fun making the graphs and I can't wait for another maths time !

My Perfectly Made Graphs
Today, our class we're taught how to make a bar graph and a pie graph. We had to choose what kind of graph and I chose a pie graph. I finished my graph on time before our teacher had to stop us. It was really fun making the graph because we were mucking around with the colours and the fonts. We were making fun of some of the ugly colours. But I didn't only make a pie graph, I also made a BAR GRAPH ! Perfect, right ?

Finding Out Perimeters of 2D Shapes!!!
WALT find the Perimeter of 2D shapes
Formulae:
Perimeter of a Square = side + side + side + side or 4 x side
Example: The perimeter of a square of side 5cm = 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 20 cm or 4 x 5 = 20 cm
Find the perimeter of the following squares:
The perimeter of a square of side 10cm = 4 x 10 = 40 cm
The perimeter of a square of side 25cm = 4 x 25 = 100 cm
The perimeter of a square of side 5m = 4 x 5 = 20 cm
The perimeter of a square of side 50m = 4 x 50 = 200 cm
The perimeter of a square of side 1km = 4 x 1 = 4 km
Perimeter of a Rectangle = length + width + length + width or 2 x l + 2 x w
Example: The perimeter of a rectangle whose length is 6cm and width is 4cm = 6 + 4 + 6 + 4 = 20 cm or 2 x 6 + 2 x 4= 12 + 8 = 20 cm
Find the perimeter of the following rectangles whose lengths and widths are given below:
Rectangle 1 - length is 8cm and width is 5cm
Perimeter = 26 cm
Rectangle 2 - length is 10cm and width is 7cm
Perimeter = 34 cm
Rectangle 3 - length is 8m and width is 6m
Perimeter = 28 cm
Rectangle 4 - length is 16m and width is 10m
Perimeter = 52 cm
Rectangle 5 - length is 4km and width is 2km
Perimeter = 12 cm
Evaluation: Today I learnt how to find out the perimeter of 2D shapes

My Amazing Maths Lesson With Mrs Raj!
Today I learnt how to add and use tidy numbers. I didn't complete the last two because I had to finish my maintenance and we also ran out of time. I sat next a partner in my group and we worked together with all our maths. We talked a little about maths and what we couldn't solve but managed to solve it as a team.What I really enjoy in maths is when I use tidy numbers and work with Mrs Raj because I need some help and I really to move up a level or two. My goal in my maths is to try and work harder and try be smarter like all my other classmates.
I really enjoy doing maths. Maths is one of my favorite subjects in school. I like to do some maths at home on the computer or on a math sheet. I like to do maths with my dad and my older cousin because I understand clearly and they don't confuse me like how I am at school, always confused. Maths is fun, confusing, exciting, understanding, and also cool. I enjoy maths lessons with my teacher and I hope to be like that everyday.

Maths Division
Yahoo! It's Maths Time. Today I did maths with my teacher Mrs Boyer. She is really smart and she taught me a lot of things that I never knew about.I had to go on Maths Magician and practice my division and subtraction. I practiced my 9 divided by divisions. I scored 100% in 56 seconds.
I really enjoyed my maths and I really enjoyed learning more from my teacher. I'll try to do my best and get a higher score next time.
