The highest flood in Greymouth for a long time killed lots of cows by electric shock. But a very good thing happened about 100 cows were picked up and moved to high ground by using a helicopter. In the end the flood did not over come the wall made of sacks of sand and the town didn't get flooded.

The highest flood in Greymouth for a long time killed lots of cows by electric shock. But a very good thing happened about 100 cows were picked up and moved to high ground by using a helicopter. In the end the flood did not over come the wall made of sacks of sand and the town didn't get flooded.

ReplyDeleteI feel sad when animals get killed in natural disasters but it was great that some were saved by being air lifted to safety by helicopter.
